How can I adjust the position & shape of Cello’s Floating Action Button?

Cello assists in configuring the position & shape of the Floating Action Button for you. You can specify the details in Step 2) Customize User Experience that you find in your Onboarding Workspace. Cello will take care of adjusting the position & shape.

How can I adjust the copy & visuals of the referral experience?

The copy & visuals can be adjusted in Step 2) Customize User Experience that you find in your Onboarding Workspace. Cello will take care of updating the configuration. Please note the following:

  • Formatting options like bold, italic or line breaks are not available within one block of copy in the referral experience flow.
  • We leverage the same visual/image on all steps of the referral experience and across all languages.
  • It is not possible to add links into copy. Only on the “How it works screen” can links be added in separate rows
  • The icon inside the Cello Floating Action Button is standard and not customizable.

Which parts of the referral experience can be customized?

All the customizations can be defined in Step 2) Customize User Experience that you find in your Onboarding Workspace. After filling out the form from this section, feel free to reach out to you Customer Success Manager if there are any other adjustments you are interested in.

How can I add additional languages to the referral experience for localization and internationalization?

Cello supports full localization. To add languages, fill out your Customization form in your Onboarding Workspace with your default language. There will be a question where you are able to provide us with a list of the other languages that you will need added. After you submit the form, we will reach out with a csv to acquire the translations from you.

How does Cello localize users to decide on the displayed languages?

  • Referral Component: In the product integration, you can either pass a parameter for the language that the user has set in their Settings inside your tool (documentation here) or the language will be based on your selected default language.
  • Referee Landing Page: The language is always based on the browser settings. If a non-configured language is selected in the settings, English is displayed as default
  • Referrer Landing Page on mobile: The language is always based on the phone settings. If a non-configured language is selected in the settings, English is displayed as default.

Can I use a custom launcher for Cello to integrate in the header or the menu of my product?

Cello offers early access to a custom launcher that gives you full control over the integration of the referral program launcher. Please reach out to us in Slack for more information.
